yo!
has anyone experimented with rewriting global offnet dial patterns to another number? I know how to do this on a per-account level, but not sure how it would be achieved globally via offnet
i.e. you call 311 but you want to translate that to 415-555-1212

Hey guys. Trying to update from 3.16 to 3.2 but were seeing the following error: http://repo.2600hz.com/R15B/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"
Do we have to update to 3.17 first or something?

Anyone know how to configure polycom to auto answer only on pages not on every call ?

Good Morning. Is the forum link in the topic down? I've seen the link in the topic as well as a google group - which is the actual forum? :)
Jinxed-
Are there any good links on the site to describe the capabilities of the kazoo API's the site has gotten to the point where it is very very high level
I wanted to send to a developer but can't find any detailed info
mark2600
you probably want the doc's that are in the github repo
Jinxed-
mark2600, where are the github docs
https://2600hz.atlassian.net/wiki/display/Dedicated/Learn+More%3A+Platform+Architecture ?
mark2600
if you looking for detailed docs on the api commands and such then the markdown files in git are the best place (files ending with .md)
for example, a good starting point: https://github.com/2600hz/kazoo/tree/master/applications/crossbar/doc
though that may be too low level for what you need
Jinxed-
mark2600, what would be the best information for a high level description of what kazoo is capable of from a technical level: https://2600hz.atlassian.net/wiki/display/Dedicated/Learn+More%3A+Platform+Architecture ? I want to show the distributed capability of the network as the main differentiator
mark2600
https://2600hz.atlassian.net/wiki/display/Dedicated/System+Overview
you could probably use that diagram to speak to that
but I am not sure that what you are looking for exists at the moment
also https://2600hz.atlassian.net/wiki/display/APIs/API+Introduction for more api info

thanks mark2600

how to fix: cf_resources:3d8d1f5c58264bfba3b572afc5c29699:51 offnet request error, attempting to find failure branch for undefined:OUTGOING_CALL_BARRED ?
js__
good afternoon. having an issue calling specific US area codes across all clients. Most work, some don't. Getting OUTGOING_CALL_BARRED in freeswitch logs. Carrier says that they receive the request but that the call is canceled right away before it can complete
any assistance would be greatly appreciated :)
stormqloud
did it work before? or is this a new install?
js__
this is a new install and is failing with multiple gateways
v 3.20
area codes that have been reported are 845, 860 and 856
stormqloud
you made sure the carrier is configured to allow from port 11000 and the right ip
you should get a tcpdump of the sip packets
of a failed transaction
to see what is actually going on
see what endpoint is actually sending that etc
make sure the carrier has all your freeswitch ip's
js__
ah, that reminds me. I actually already did a dump, but never analyzed it
yes, the carrier is definitely routing call from all fs hosts
hereIam
carrier has not been involved. kazoo kills the call
stormqloud
are you guys together?
js__
yes
sorry - we are both working on the issue
stormqloud
can you paste the log somewhere
js__
sure
hereIam
it looks like the issue fired somewhere in cf_resources lines 40-47
stormqloud
maybe it's having trouble finding the carrier to use
is it repeatable to the same NPANXX the problem
hereIam
it found the callflow for the call
js__
yes, the the same NPA (NXX doesn't matter)
stormqloud
you only use global carriers?
hereIam
yes, only offnet
stormqloud
have you tried the sup command to see what carrier gets selected when you dial anumber
to make sure it's getting the right path
ie sup stepswitch_maintenance process_number 22234234232
hereIam
it returns "ok"
stormqloud
also maybe make sure your classifiers are right
sup wnm_util classify_number 15149072508
sup wnm_util classify_number +15149072508
sup wnm_util classify_number 5149072508
should all return the same result
you need to change the 222 to your hpne number you have issues with
sup stepswitch_maintenance process_number +15149072508
if you replace that with your problem number
you need to get more then "ok"
ok with no other result means nothing found basically
hereIam
"did_us"
stormqloud
ok all 3 ways it comes up as us_did?
then try the process_number
to test the carrier
hereIam
yes, with +, without + and without +1
did_us
stormqloud
ok that's good
now see what carrier it puls up
js__
here is the cli output http://pastebin.com/UvetDfhf
hereIam
stormqloud: a structure with carrier data returned
stormqloud
ok that;s what it's suposed to do
hereIam
unfortunately, it doesn't work
js__
I received: Route : sip:18605551212@outbound.vitelity.net
and Route : sip:+18605551212@sip-lv1.flowroute.com
hereIam
yes, but call still barred
js__
yes, correct
stormqloud
you are goign to have to look in your /var/log/2600hz/kazoo.log files
perhaps increase logging to debug
Kazoo is killing the call
but the freeswithc log doesn;t say why
so gotta look in kazoo log for that
you are 3.2?
js__
yes, 3.20
stormqloud
an you can see it try your backup carrier also with teh same result
all accounts do this?
js__
yes, it seems to be the same way for all accounts
stormqloud

Brian--
js__ not related but get rid of some codecs you are not using. If the MTU on your network interface is 1500 then some of the packets are exceeding that (recv 1702 bytes from udp/[xxx.xxx.xxx.234]:5060 at 19:17:35.482764:) no point in having loads of unused codecs in invites..
js__
it's resolvable
one thing that we're just noticing is that apparently if voip-fe02 grabs it, the call completes
Thanks for the tip, Brian - we will do that
