What's the best way to globally ensure that a voicemail minimum duration (time) is enforced ? Seems that only file length is checked
stormqloud
If you run 3.20 for example make sure you don;t get this installed by mistake kazoo-freeswitch-R15B-1.4.15-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
there is a time length that is enforced also I think
like 600 sec or somethign
moutardeBl3u
I end-up with valid voicemails that lasted not even a second
stormqloud
that's odd, I've never had that one
my empty voicemails get dropped
moutardeBl3u
I've seen max_message_length in code
AndresVP
stromqloud: great thank you
stormqloud
yours must be just slightly over whatever trigger level
whatever it's called for sure it's in couchdb system_config somewhere
you might try checking the mailing lists, voicemail message length etc sounds familiar, I'm sure somebody has had that issue before
moutardeBl3u
didnt found much
stormqloud
IF you use nster=ui you can see 600sec exposed on the UI somewhere for recording max call time
moutardeBl3u
It is refered here in the callflows
https://2600hz.atlassian.net/wiki/display/APIs/Callflow+Flow+Elements
stormqloud
I don;t think it was changable buyt at least you could follow back to see where it's pulled from
must be a property of a voicemail box tho
the callflow would be just passing the vaue on to the voicemailbox
moutardeBl3u
humm. Right. But you see I was hoping to change a default value that would stick globally to the cluster, unless defined in a cf element
stormqloud
well I'm just guessing but you would have to change that in the system schema defaults I think then
but you need to be careful because a kazoo upgrade will blow it away
perhaps there is a way to setup in the master super duper account and have it use that to override the schema default
moutardeBl3u
There is also min_message_size referenced in cf_voicemail.erl
whapps_config:get_integer ?KEY_VOICEMAIL, ?KEY_MIN_MESSAGE_SIZE
stormqloud
-define(MAILBOX_DEFAULT_MSG_MAX_LENGTH
,whapps_config:get_integer(?CF_CONFIG_CAT
,[?KEY_VOICEMAIL, ?KEY_MAX_MESSAGE_LENGTH]
,500
)).
so it's using couchdb to lookup the vaue
moutardeBl3u
ok looks like we're on the same page here :)
stormqloud
specifically inside system_config
and if there is no default in system_config then it's using 500
ok I see it
check in your system_config/callflow document
expand the doc and you will find what you want in there
moutardeBl3u
fixed! thanks

stormqloud: Use ZNC and playback missed IRC discussions ;) Or use botbot.me as MrFrenchyPants demonstrated early on :P
stormqloud
neurosys: znc! nice!
