MrFrenchyPants: switch_core_media.c:3214 RFC2543 from March 1999 called; They want their 0.0.0.0 hold method back.....
LOL!
moutardeBl3u
mrgab_: RE your codec request of yesterday... I also suffer codec negotiation issues. In my case I prefer G.722 between phones that supports "HD voice", however I would prefer the phones to use PCMU when bridged to the PSTN carriers. I always end-up having G.722 on one leg and PCMU on the other when (and only when) the call is originated by the phones that supports G.722.
mrgab__
hi moutardeBl3u: i have to use opus or g729 because most of my customers use my mobile app
moutardeBl3u
Sure, but my understanding is that you are trying to avoid transcoding when both endpoints shares at least one common codec
mrgab__
yes
moutardeBl3u: i have this problem because the call starts with a codec and than could continue with another one if bridged
some devices. Did you find any trick? thanks
moutardeBl3u
In my testing, the phones offers codec G.722 followed by PCMU in the INVITE SDP. Kazoo callflow logic has to bridge call to global carrier. In offnet, this carrier is defined with only PCMU codec. Freeswitch replies in 183 and 200OK is to only advertize G.722 in SDP back to the originating phone.
MrFrenchyPants
neurosys: bahaha yeah i love that one :)
moutardeBl3u
No, I tried playing with a few of the Freeswitch sip profile parameters without any luck. I was hoping that you made progress on your end.

let's keep in touch
since we have the same issue :)

Hello guys! Can anybody help me with metaflows and transfering by means of DTMF ? Currently I have metaflows in account document. (http://justpaste.it/mnyz)
When enter *4 - it works and I listen 'hello world'. Now sure why I listen this 2 times but it's not so important.
BUT! When I enter *12222 nothing happens. I have local callflow '2222' and expect that call will be transferred to ext 2222.
I also tried to add same metaflows to callflow document. As a result I was able to transfer the call but only from A-leg.
I tried to set listen_on: both, peer, b but nothing helps and only A-leg worked.
I really need the way for call transferring by means of dtmf digits.
Please advice.

any hosted PBX providers running 2600hz in production?
(that have made that information public one way or another)
tyk
Hi All, I want to get automatic phone provisioning working with v3. Have my servers setup my unsure of how to integrate in to Monster-UI. Any tips?
Saratogga - we hope to be soon!
saratogga
running it on your own or through their cluster/paid service?
tyk
By ourselves... we have tested lots of softswitches out there and we couldn't find anything that was as good
saratogga
what were your 2nd and 3rd choices?
tyk
the only thing we can't find is the autoprovisioning
saratogga
tyk: are you going to use it as your platform to sell hosted PBX services?
tyk
2 secs
http://code-desk.com/products
IntuPBX
Don't touch 4PSA we trialled it and it doesn't work
That one is $250.00 per month for unlimited extensions (USD) per server
saratogga
You going to sell hosted PBX to businesses?
tyk
We want to use Kazoo - I think it scales much better
Yse B2B in Australia
saratogga
It's too bad Kazoo is not written in Python or something, even Go
Erlang is like chinese to me
and I've been programming for 15 years
makes it difficult to dive into the code
tyk
Yes I know
Do you know where we can get the Auto Provisioning module?
saratogga
so you're using master-ui?
read this: https://github.com/stormqloud/kazoo-tgbbok/blob/master/provisioning.md
tyk
2600hz apparently has provisioning built for master-ui. This is not an open source product as far as I can find.
So its not included?
saratogga
not 100%, I'd contact them to inquire
provisioning is hard
tyk
Yes I've emailed them - no response
I know the product works, but everything is half finished
The Website, The Wiki lol
saratogga
I'd happily pay for a SaaS that handles provisioning for me
lol
I'm building a hosted PBX company from scratch
tyk
Yeh so are we
I just finished growing one in Melbourne and sold it 6 months ago (business partner bought me out)
I've used every platform and I can tell you Kazoo looks the best
saratogga
Are you offering mobile apps and such advanced features?
tyk
Yes, we were selling 3CX
I've partnered up with another IT company in Melbourne
saratogga
I'm looking for a while label app I can rebrand
tyk
we have about 50,000 worth of tolling clients between us that we will move on to the new platform
I'm looking for something all in one that can scale and we can build in redundancy
3CX is hopeless like that, if you're running Cloud Server on Windows you can't get any redundancy (easily)
saratogga
I can't possibly use Kazoo due to it being 99% Erlang. We're building everything from scratch.. everything
AndresVP_
Any one know of a way to block a number via the Kazoo portal?
mark2600
saratogga: come on now, Erlang is not that hard ;)
tyk
There isn't much else to use ----
I'm a Windows system admin with little to no linux experience
i've spent 1 week on this project and picked up so much
saratogga
While, so we're rethinking the whole PBX concept and building it from the ground up like it should be in 2015, not patched up Broadsoft implementations from the 90s
tyk
Broadsoft is rubbish
saratogga
Why are you in the hosted PBX business?
tyk
I've got good wholesale carrier contacts in Australia
and a lot of experience with PBX
PRI / BRI Gateways etc
makes it easy to sell and good margin
saratogga
So would you be competing with RingCentral and other big ones or have they not reached your market?
tyk
Different market...
We don't have RingCentral etc here
