MikeDunton
Good morning
stormqloud_
hello
MikeDunton
How is it going
Does kazoos versioning still work like this: Highest Version number is the one in active development. one below that is in QA. one below that is stable?
stormqloud_
3.21 is your best bet for a new install
MikeDunton
How about upgrade?
I am currently at 3.16
In the process of going to 3.19
stormqloud_
I really don;t know much about upgrades, I havn;t been running kazoo long enough
you should check the mailing lists, I'm sure there is something there
btracht
MikeDunton: i am also currently running v 3.16 planning on upgrading to 3.21
if you run into any issue with the upgrade could you please post?
mc_
MikeDunton: generally speaking, you should be able to upgrade to the stable version, run the migrate command, and be good to go
but, big jumps tend to have a period of adjustment
so going from 16 to 21 will mostly work, but there could be a few changes that require some manual intervention
depends how much you've modified configs in the db and whatnot
with the slower release cycle, we're hoping folks feel more confident upgrading each release
3.19 was the first "slow" release
MikeDunton
@mc_ thanks!
@btracht will do
@mc_ is there any documentation on "slower release cycle" or could you expand on that?
are you talking more QA before pushing to stable?
mc_
MikeDunton: yes, basically, we're doing as many sprints as necessary to complete a release
rather than one sprint per release
neurosys
mc_: You have a magic erlang function to flush TS cache?
mc_
sup trunkstore maintenance flush ?
trunkstore_maintenance
neurosys
mc_: ha that freaking worked!
mc_
i should hope so!
:)
neurosys
mc_: so i caught a bug where i moved a toll free from TS to CF and it somehow got stuck in TS
mc_: only that # for some reason. But that flush cleared it out lol
mc_: i must have missed that when parsing TS sourcecode
mc_
neurosys: i know we did some work related to moving numbers between the two apps recently
neurosys
thanks for that
mc yeah im on 3.20 so thats kewl
pyite
neurosys: ping
neurosys: CanDo is finally looking at your 911 issue
i cant believe it took this long, i owe you like 10 beers, sorry :(
neurosys
pyite: Hahaha we can drink up in a few weeks heh
pyite
indeed
neurosys: to speed things along, can you PM CanDo with creds from the PBX Connector which is failing to dial 911
we will test using 933
it should behave the same
neurosys
pyite: 10-4...
CanDo
