pyite: Flowroute is the "first pure SIP CLEC in the US"?
pyite: ummm for some reason that doesn't ring accurate to me
j4m3s
pyite, got to the bottom of those build/source issues on our prod servers, merged in some duplicate functions and i had nksip-0.4 and nksip-0.4.0 in deps
the dupe functions were wh_api:msg_id and teletype_low_balance:get_balance_threshold

hey guys,I could use some help with an issue - I collected all of the details and filed a ticket at https://2600hz.atlassian.net/browse/KAZOO-4209

mc_, if i add a callflow doc in the db, what command can i run to make sure that it gets updated in kazoo?
mc_
j4m3s: don't understand
if you create a callflow doc directly in the db
as long as the pvt_type is set
it should show up in the listing in the UI the next time you load callflows
it should be immediately callable though
the view will be updated to list it
but you gotta have the pvt_type field set properly

hey mc_
do you know if its possible for me to disable t.38 in freeswitch in the sip_profile?
not talking specifically about kazoo
mc_
alpha-z: umm, not sure how you'd do that tbh
ask in #freeswitch
alpha-z
thx
its cuz i'm using this thing called ictfax to use as a fax portal that connects to my kazoo which then goes to my provider
and my provider doesnt do t38.. but its trying to do it anyway
so then it just explodes
mc_
yeah, i know you can do it, just not sure on the specifics atm
alpha-z
mc you still there?
... i finally figured out how to disable t38 in ictfax..
so it now calls to kazoo without t38,
but then kazoo still goes and t38's that out... wth...

Hello, anyone know when the Wiki will be back online?
voxter
mc_: hey duder! question about this line https://github.com/2600hz/kazoo/blob/master/deps/ibrowse-4.0.1/src/ibrowse_http_client.erl#L234
mc_: the ibrowse client library has the timeout commented out, so request timeouts will never fire. it looks like, looking at the ibrowse project itself, this was uncommented one minor release later.
alpha-z
hey voxter how goes it
voxter
mc_: curious if you know of any reason why this is commented out in the kazoo repo, specifically for safety or compatability
mc_: or if it was just an oversight on import from the ibrowse fork
alpha-z: good! how about you?
alpha-z
not too bad, been busy with non voice stuff lately :(
voxter
doh!
you coming to kazoocon!?
alpha-z
wheres that
voxter
san francisco
www.kazoocon.com
alpha-z
oh.. thats too far!
voxter
where are you again, ontario?
alpha-z
calgary
voxter
whatever, im coming from vancouver, its not that far!
:)
alpha-z
LOL.
:D
hey you know how i can disable frigging t38 in kazoo?
took me all day to figure out how to disable it on my ictfax box, ... so i was all happy
voxter
alpha-z: ive never wanted to do that becuase t38 is awesome, but I would imagine the place to do it would be freeswitch
alpha-z
ah.
ok
i'll check in fs autoconfig thing
ya t38 awesome
unless the provider doesnt support it!
rofl
voxter
:)
alpha-z
cries. i wonder if i can put it in the offnet doc
somehow
voxter
no idea.
CanDo
alpha-z, freeswitch has the capability to in essence transcode t-38. That might be what it is doing. Generally the part you really want t-38 on is the customer leg becuse of lastmile traffic contention.
Unfortunately it has been a long time since I played with that stuff.
Look at Freeswitch docs on t-38.
alpha-z
cando i've been playing with t.38 on fs for years, its just that i dont know how to do any of it in kazoo, i do essentially want to turn it off only for the provider, and not for internal legs, but its really not so simple with kazoo stuck in the middle, theres no dialplans or anything.
lazedo
alpha-z: disable it in resource document of the provider
alpha-z
which field do i have to enter?
i'm trying to find it.
mc_
voxter: not sure, is there a commit in git blame on our repo for that line?
or is it just an importing ibrowse type message
alpha-z
hmmm i found the ticket that adds the functionality to the offnet carrier doc, but i dont see any of the code, so i dont know what variable i need to put in there
i found it! i think
t38_setting
or not...
