hmmhesays: is this an all in one?
hmmhesays
yeah
bongfrog
were you able to go to futon and chage or add?
hmmhesays
no idea what I was supposed to change
I blew that container away and install 3.20 in a fresh container
bongfrog
a new couchDb instance?
hmmhesays
no, whole new install
this is all in one
bongfrog
I see same issue on the new one?
hmmhesays
no 3.20 works
3.21 I get the "cannot remove database" error
what database it is trying to remove I do not know
bongfrog
I would try to use the couchDB GUI (futon) (port 5984) and make some random documents or database to verify it is working
hmmhesays
internal_server_error,
"No DB shards could be opened.
I bet that is an issu
*issue even
bongfrog
hmmhesays: at one point I had to create a repo localally that had the install version I wanted
hmmhesays: that is likely the permissions on the /data
hmmhesays
bongfrog, yes I've create my own repo
filesystem permissions?
bongfrog
yes
hmmhesays
where is the data at?
is there rsync access to the 2600hz repo?

hi, could anyone please explain me how gen_listener works? I can't not figure out how bindings works. In gen_listener:init only add_responder is found. I am wondering where the bingings param we pass when calling gen_listener:start_link goes and how it affect the event listening.

I'm having a problem with a snom370 accepting an inbound call. It's sending back a 404
neurosys
hmmhesays: Snoms are a pain
hmmhesays
yeah, everything looks fine to me
is there a magic setting in them?
neurosys
I recall a server type requiing Asterisk
hmmhesays: I dont have a snom in my lab for some odd reason. But i have customers using them
hmmhesays
it's gotta be something stupid like they have default encrypted rtp on
neurosys
hmmhesays: oh well srtp does work
:P
hmmhesays
yeah I just need an invite to work
neurosys
hmmhesays: did you figure it out?
hmmhesays
neurosys, negative
compared invites from a working line
in the highest level debug log I see it says route sending packet, then the next line is send 404

Would someone mind explaining the difference between the apps written in erlang (crossbar, jonny5, conference, etc) and the whapps (accounts, numbers, pbxs, etc)? Are the whapps for things you would want to be accessible from the gui and the erlang apps for things you want to happen in the background? I'm new to kazoo and still trying to understand how the different parts works. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Hey, does anyone know where fax files are stored?
gunn2600
hi mark2600, do you have time for call center today?
hmmhesays
no settings in this snom give it away

Question about the CDR API. There is a 15 minutes limit on querying. Is the limit per account or for the API as a whole?
justinbwatson
After upgrading to the lastest version of Kazoo, when a call comes inbound destined for a hosted PBX on the sysytem, I get ts_callflow:52 (<0.3138.0>) request is not for a trunkstore account and the caller receives a busy tone
I tried downgrading back to 2 RPM releases ago, but the trunkstore whapp keeps crashing every 5 minutes or so.
hmmhesays
is there any way to confine cdr's to a certain set of couch instances?
voxter
hmmhesays: yes, but it will require some manual work on your couch setup
hmmhesays
manual work is fine
voxter
hmmhesays: essentially, you'd take each of your MODB's and point the shards for them to different couch servers
that would require work each month
i also dont reccommend this (not for any reason besides ive never done it and have no idea what the potential consequences are)
just telling you whats possible :P
hmmhesays
probably easier to change kazoo to point towards two separate instances
justinbwatson
voxter: Are you running latest RPM?
voxter
justinbwatson: of?
kazoo?
justinbwatson
Yeah
3.21-21
voxter
no not yet
we're running 3.20
just merging into 3.21 now
we operate our own fork
hmmhesays
voxter, you run any snom's?
voxter
some of our resellers do
personally i cant stand them
justinbwatson
voxter: Be careful if you have any trunkstore/ pbx connecter accounts
voxter
the ui is confusing
justinbwatson: oh?! please, share with me your experiences!!
justinbwatson
Well, it may be confined to just us, but it seems as though the trunkstore whapp has a glitch. It either crashes on version 3.21-19 or just doesnt locate how to route an incoming call destined for a hosted pbx
hmmhesays
I have a 370 that is registering find but when you call it, the unit sends back a 404
justinbwatson
Change Long SIP-Contact (RFC3840): Off Support broken Registrar: On
ou can find these settings under Identity 1 -> SIP (Section)
you*
hmmhesays: May work.
voxter
justinbwatson: so your registered trunkstore pbx's just dont get routed to? hmmmm! what kamailio are you running?
and 3.21-19 crashes, thats very werd
weird*
justinbwatson
4.2.3-16
I get ts_callflow:52 (<0.3138.0>) request is not for a trunkstore account and the caller receives a busy tone
I cant find any recent changes to the whapp that would cause this.
voxter
very strange!
have you found any other quirks?
I can specifically test trunkstore out when we roll it out to our staging server though
justinbwatson
voxter: I dontt believe anything else is wrong
hmmhesays
justinbwatson, thanks that worked, I was looking at that for hours.
justinbwatson
