say I have a ring group of 12 monitored extensions it's going to light up all 12 extensions every time a call hits that ring group
neurosys
hmmhesays: re: polycom call ID popup
hmmhesays: Yeah in 5.3 (I do not suggest using 5.4 as fast park is broken on is and as far as i know we have not found a fix)
hmmhesays: If you need i can get you the xml attribute
hmmhesays
neurosys, I found it in the attendant behaviors
neurosys
hmmhesays: :)
hmmhesays: Wsnt it OSD?
hmmhesays
hmm?
neurosys
hmmhesays: osdIncomingCall?
hmmhesays
no, attendant.behaviors.display.spontaneousCallAppearances.automata
neurosys
Oh did you not want to to show up at all?
hmmhesays
correct
for now
I'm trying to make this thing act as close to an old key system as possible
which is interesting
trying to figure out if it's possible now to make a group call not light up every single extension monitored
curious how others are handling presence
neurosys, how does fast park work?

hi
does anyone have 2600 set up in an office environment
btracht
i am running 3.16-2. any issue (anything besides yum update that i would need to do) upgrading to 3.21?
i removed a did using UI number manager but sup command still shows number associated with account
why
i dont see it in DB numbers/xxx
how do i reload numbers DBs
stormqloud_
maybe need to reconcile
btracht
reconcile?
number DBs updated on their own finally
cando
btracht: There are three places that numbers are generally in configs I know of. In the numbers DBs and in the owning account's db phone_numbers doc and call flows.
btracht
how often do they reload automtically?
cando: i just checked account callflow-listing_by_number. the number is still there
cando
ahh. re-reading your comment, I think it is just a caching issue.
btracht
sup command shows no account now, though
nevermind. i think it IS still in callflow. i just removed from 'numbers'
how would i clear cache manually. i did run /opt/kazoo/utils/sup/sup whapps_config flush
cando
sup is going to be looking at the numbers db. I don't think deleting the number from number manager automatically removes it from callflows. It should delete it from account's phone_numbers doc and change the status in the numbers db but not delete it completely. It keeps a history of ownership.
btracht
right. i just forgot to remove it from callflow
but /opt/kazoo/utils/sup/sup crossbar_maintenance find_account_by_number still associated DID with account after removing it from numbers and running /opt/kazoo/utils/sup/sup whapps_config flush
cando
There are a number of flushes. I believe whapps_config would not affect numbers, just what is in the system_config db.
bongfrog
maybe sup whapps_config flush number_manager
btracht
whAT about '/opt/kazoo/utils/sup/sup stepswitch_maintenance reload_resources'
or is that just carrier stuff?
cando
btracht: I believe that is just carrier configs. It could trigger a number flush. Haven't looked at that code. :)
I doubt it though.
btracht
well, either way its updated now so i'm good. i'll try again next time i move numbers around
cando: thanks for the help
cando
Most welcome.
btracht: You might be interested in bash completion: https://github.com/2600hz/community-scripts/tree/master/bash_completion.d
btracht
thanks. i'll check it out
stormqloud_
the bash completion is boss

pyite
LOL
nice
hmmhesays
Maybe we should go work out while I'm there
I'll be registering tuesday, btw
btracht
looking to update from 3.16 to latest. any extra steps besides yum update???
currently running kamailio 4.0-46. i see 3.23 will use kamailio v4.2.3-16
anything to do there with update?
hmmhesays
I'm not a fan of updating
btracht
hmmhesays: how do you stay up to date with releases
hmmhesays
why do you need to if what you're using isn't broken?
btracht
newest release has more options, bug fixes, etc.
one key addition that will be usefule is blacklists
new releases are made for a reason
hmmhesays
I'll modify my statement. I'm not a fan of updating just to update.
binary64
I agree with hmm, I am irc'ing from my zx spectrum here
hmmhesays
Wind Surfer!
btracht
clearly i would not update just to update... or i would not be going from 3.16 to 3.21 (i would be updating 3.21-22 to 3.21-23)
the last update i did was from 3.02 to 3.16. there were a couple files that required editing. i believe 1 with freeswitch and 1 with kamalio
that is why i'm asking if any additional steps would be required to go from 3.16 to 3.21
hmmhesays
gotcha, I'm the wrong guy to ask
I just installed 3.21
haven't dealt with anything earlier much
btracht
thanks
i am thinking about cloning DBs to add a server to cluster and loading fs and kazoo servers from scratch to avoid updating
but if yum update will work (verified) i figure i could save myself a lot of trouble...and time
pyite
hmmhesays: nice
bongfrog
btracht: the sup migrate seems to clean the heckout of the db settings . Should not be too much to change in the rest . Kamailio will be a big update.
btracht
bongfrog: kamailio is my main concern
attempting to do this on dev cluster now
voxter
I should really update the bash completion, its about 90% implemented properly ;)
btracht
whats the easiest way to install old version of kazoo/freeswitch/kamailio for testing purposes?
i'd like to match my existing cluster for testing and update
cando
btracht, Currently old versions are not in the repo. When I did my upgrate I use rsync to copy from production to test servers.
I created a list of files to rsync from the rpm -l
hmmhesays
old versions are at repo.2600hz.com
cando
hmmhesays, I don't see anything older than 3.21. btracht is talking about installin 3.16 to test upgrading from it.
bongfrog
everyone should have a personal repo !!!
http://repo.2600hz.com/Packages/Kazoo/CentOS_6/x86_64/R15B/3.16/
cando
bongfrog, wow that would have been helpfull to realize when I was doing upgrade from 3.08 to 3.18.
bongfrog
cando: but think of all of the kazoo knowleage you would not have learned!!!!
cando
btracht, do you know how to set things up to have yum use that repo path?
bongfrog
cando: Don;t you think it is easier to just spin up a apache server and point to it?
that way you control all of the packages easily
