Evil_Bob
k0ga: btw cc1 doesnt support #if, #elif yet, but i imagine its non-trivial to implement
k0ga
Evil_Bob: yeah
you need an expression evaluator for them
it increases a lot the complexity
and for them it is better an external cpp
I wrote the embedded cpp mainly because you need #pragma, #error and #line in the compiler
and because write a simple cpp in the compiler was easy
and needed if you want check any real code
s/want/& to/
and in an environment like a real z80 is really faster
but, for real code you need a real cpp, that in some moment should be written
FRIGN
k0ga: what about a cc0 for that? :D
k0ga
I think cpp is a more common name :P
Evil_Bob
:)
FRIGN
:P
k0ga: I think the best separation would be to have a cpp which does all the #-stuff
but I overheard that there are things told with the #-statements which are relevant to the compiler, am I right?
k0ga
yes
#line is relevant to the compile
FRIGN
can you give an example?
why is it relevant?
k0ga
is you have to give an error and you print the line and file, then cc1 need to know it
FRIGN
ah ok
k0ga
#pragma is compiler oriented
it is a way to indicate some non portable extension to the compiler
some compilers have #pragma printf xxxx, to indicate that xxxx has a first parameter like printf
so the compiler can check if the parameters are correct
in general, #line, #error and #pragma are for teh compiler
FRIGN
k0ga: are these the only ones?
k0ga
I have implemented also #define, #undef, #ifdef, #ifndef, #else and #endif
remove them save 250 lines of code
Maybe in the future, after writing a cpp, we can discuss remove them
FRIGN

Evil_Bob
anyone here has a samsung 850 SSD? is it decent?
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: No, No
Get a Crucial
or an OCZ, mine works really well
Evil_Bob
ok, i actually have a Crucial on my desktop :)
hmm i heard bad things about OCZ though
friend of mine has a samsung 840 evo
i only need a small one (120GB or so) for my laptop
it _needs_ to be supported on openbsd well too
hmm crucial bx100 seems crazy cheap
250GB for 80 euro
probably even cheaper from the company i work (costprice)
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: the old ocz's were bad
but starting with the Vector, they went pretty good
mine has been running for almost 4 years, no issues
Evil_Bob
ah good :)
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: I hate it that every time you do a firmware update, the drive is wiped :P
Evil_Bob
hmm really? i updated the firmware of my crucial m550 without wipe
samsung 840 can be upgraded too without a wipe
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: It depends on the update
Evil_Bob
yea ofcourse
FRIGN
I sh*t you not, Evil_Bob, YouTube has been suggesting fu*king Taylor Swift on my YouTube homepage for the last couple of months
Evil_Bob
hah, youtube recommendations are total garbage. its probably because i block google ads etc though :)
FRIGN
:)
I thought about removing my YouTube account
YouTube has been gowing downhill since Google bough it
*bought
The AJAX-video-browsing slows my browser down to a creep
Evil_Bob
i get some fgt dutch Vlog, girl beauty tips, Taylor Swift, K3 (dutch/belgian) girl group that sings for young children, etc
FRIGN
^^
Evil_Bob
im serious :)
FRIGN
I watch mostly health videos and surgery videos
Evil_Bob
this is probably what 99% of the youtube audience watches though sadly
FRIGN
none is shown on the front page
Evil_Bob
my recommendations would probably be 99% gunther
FRIGN
did you know that a teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper in Warm water can stop someone's heart attack in seconds?
like, the one has to drink it in one gulp
Evil_Bob
FRIGN: you can make me believe anything when it comes to these facts, are you serious? :P
thats really cool
FRIGN: why does it work?
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: When you drink the Pepper, it immediately irritates nerves in your chest which regulate the heart beat and lower the blood pressure
when you drink it warm, the blood thinning properties of the pepper are also a huge factor
if you have a wound that won't stop bleeding, putting the cayenne pepper directly on the wound stops the bleeding immediately
I tried it out myself and it works
It's actually quite funny
Cayenne Pepper makes your blood thinner, but unlike Aspirin, doesn't increase the chance of bleeding out
It's actually quite cool to drink a glass of warm water with a tsp of Cayenne Pepper every morning
You look badass manly and I tell ya, it wakes you up like a 30¬ harbour-wh**e from Arizona
Evil_Bob
hah, nice!
gandaro
cayenne pepper seems quite useful :p
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: but that's just one thing. It's been proven that it also helps against prostate cancer, because it regulates the androgene-receptors inside the prostate-cells
Evil_Bob
put a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in your butthole everyday, you heard it here first folks
FRIGN
In general, it gives your body a jolt which helps your immune system. You know those fat people whose wounds don't heal, or diabetics? It's all because their lymphatic systems are too slow
and that's where it comes in
this stuff has many uses. Talking about buttholes, it helps against Hemorrhoids
Evil_Bob
lol
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: Some gurls are dumb and put it in their vagina to stop bleeding :P
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Oi9P5SpQr0
this makes this video soo funny :P
haha
(btw, Evil_Bob, I'm not watching these kinds of videos :P)

Evil_Bob
lol was eating
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: nice, later you can eat again haha ^^
Evil_Bob
it was ok, the internet has scarred me too much already with these things :)
