FRIGN: in the meantime a new webkit version is released, you can recompile now :P
probably :P Chromium took 2.5 hours on my eight core i7
lol thats insane
yes and it does linking at the _very_ end so after it has compiled the almost 18k files to objects it links it and if the linking fails for some reason, you have to do it all over again, as portage doesn't allow you to carry on.
i compiled a debug version of webkit once, it was like a 1.5GB .so file
I lost 2.5 hours a while ago because a symlink to a library was broken. yeah, I remember ^^
gdb took 30 seconds to load it, which is actually reasonable :P
dude, it definitely is btw, did you get any results from it? I forgot
yeah there were multiple issues
cool i set up bgp-spamd nice
my god The NextBSD developers are more stubborn than Lennart Poettering and more idiotic than tree bark.
http://wmutils.io/ thoughts? advice?
dca7: ping z3bra :)
nvm, i'm an idiot :P didn't realize you're dcat :P
lel thanks for replying though
dca7: I've been using wmutils for a while I'll make some blog post so you can include it in ur thing
sounds cool I made the header a total ripoff of the old unix related books
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49sPYHh473U oh was already posted if they can get some attention and maybe achieve osx compatibility (in terms of binaries) it would be so sick linux -> dead on the desktop
atmc: I'll have to check this out in the AM im going to bed l8tr
imagine OSX desktop for a normal user with zfs etc.
atmc: Did you read "Why FreeBSD should not adopt launchd"?
atmc: it's a good read, http://blog.darknedgy.net/technology/2015/08/26/0/ it was also discussed earlier
it comes second on google "freebsd launchd" then 7th poettering's google+ profile https://plus.google.com/+LennartPoetteringTheOneAndOnly/posts/g78piqXsbKG ...it would be great to see the FreeBSD folks innovate in that area. I would love to be able to steal a couple of ideas from them...
well, if you're gonna steal bad code (which is poettering's speciality), starting with freebsd doesn't seem like a bad option
