atmc

FRIGN
while compiling gcc, have you noticed how often it runs autoconf?
Evil_Bob
hmmpf openbsd kernel panic
stateless
Evil_Bob, http://www.openbsd.org/ddb.html
wip
Evil_Bob
ah, too late, i did trace and wrote it on a piece of paper though :)
stateless: can you try compiling xenocara, it doesnt seem to work at all for me
tried disable nouveau but now it complains about amdgpu
shouldve done "show uvm", it also panic'd when i did: halt -p
hmm regression from http://cvsweb.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/sys/uvm/uvm_map.c.diff?r1=1.191&r2=1.192 i think
at uvm_unmap_detach(&dead_entries, UVM_PLA_WAITOK);
im a noob though
the uvm_fault is: uvm_fault(..., .., .., 0, 2), 0 is VM_FAULT_INVALID, 2 is PROT_WRITE
(Action) pretends like he knows what he's doing
stateless
Evil_Bob, send an email to bugs@
with the info
Evil_Bob
i cant reproduce the issue though
ill try to get some more useful info
stateless

biniar

Evil_Bob
tm512: i have a sh*tty camera, but yes ill try that anyway if it happens again
tm512
I just use my phone camera
Evil_Bob
i have some 1.2MP camara (no flash)
so.. yea
tm512
unrelated but Dancing With Kadafi is like my favorite IM song at the moment
especially the last 2min of the song
Evil_Bob
i like it alot too :)
tm512
someone also got me listening to The Orb some more
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxbltrpfsQQ
might be something you'd like
Evil_Bob
video not available (region) :|
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4QL7eI7gDk same?
tm512
yeah
Evil_Bob
cool listening now
tm512
just lower quality ;)
the one I linked is from the music provided to youtube for the content ID system, I think
Evil_Bob
ah, youtube is sometimes a bit bizarre with these things
ah noice 2:00
tm512
yeah they do more than just ambient
to me it's catchy as fu*k
that might just be me though
Evil_Bob
hmm i liked it
tm512
their double album "The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" is also pretty good
but it's pretty spacey and ambient
Evil_Bob
yea it sounds like an alien is raping my eardrums, i like it
henriqueleng

OMG!
TL;DR <3
FRIGN
yo stateless
seen the commits? what do you think? (both ls(1) and the stali-wiki-changes)
Evil_Bob
FRIGN: http://git.suckless.org/sbase/commit/?id=f1bbe6529ab0a092731e5fa8ec9bf7d82a806f69 PATH_MAX seems wrong and arbitrary here i think
FRIGN
Evil_Bob: Yes, it doesn't make a lot of sense
well, not at all ^^
Evil_Bob
for (i = 0; tree[i].ino && i < PATH_MAX; ++i) { probably use:
i < sizeof(tree) / sizeof(tree[0]) or w/e
FRIGN
how about using a forward-linked-list?
Evil_Bob
yeah
FRIGN
given we "dive" into the tree-structure, we can even keep the history-objects local
as seen in recurse()
like, on the stack
Evil_Bob
i also dont get the tail patch entirely: http://git.suckless.org/sbase/commit/?id=438d2542e4bb731c65d10f908cd0519cf502750c
FRIGN
lol, me neither
I trust Dimitris there :P
k0ga
bad done xD
FRIGN
^^
I hate to admit it, but I am not happy with how ls is atm
it's a mess
Evil_Bob
the content of ring[i] is undefined when getline <= 0 i guess (the buffer can be allocated though)
so cleaner would be something like:
if (getline(tmp, ...) > 0)
ring[i] = tmp
but yeah there is the reallocating case also
FRIGN
struct posix_string { char *buf; size_t len; };
Evil_Bob
teeny weeny posix stringy
poptart
congrats z3bra your post is at the top of hacker news! you officially are a hipster!
