Evil_Bob
lool :D
OpenBSD tame https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcmKT5uHgL0
stateless
hahahahahhaah
tame is a nice name
for a syscall
what's missing now is freeze()
also you_have_a_right_to_remain_silent(2)
retard
murder()
stateless
resurrect()
erect()
ping(2) and pong(2) syscalls would be useful
pong(2) blocks until a ping is issued
then we have two incompatible implementations
one where pings will queue up
and one where they won't
biniar
how's the hypervisor look for OpenBSD?
stateless
too early to tell
there's no code to look at
biniar
okay
does httpd obey htaccess or is that only on apache?
Evil_Bob
apache
what do you want to do specificly?
biniar
learn all of the things
Evil_Bob
catch all the pokemanz
get the master balls
(Action) unzips
biniar
https://cooltrainer.org/pocketdex/
dwts
lol
stateless
it has htpasswd
Evil_Bob
another common thing is rewrite rules (in htaccess), but this is simpler with httpd
biniar
hey stateless could you host a domain of mine for me?
stateless
sure
biniar
sweet
biniar.xyz
stateless
point ur dns
point it to 195.154.164.167
ready on my end
biniar
thats what she said
stateless
:>
biniar
updated on namecheap.com
stateless
ok
will take some time to propagate
biniar
opps
actually its says i need two
stateless
two?
biniar
two domain name servers
stateless
you don't need that, you can use theirs
dsockwell
use namecheap's nameservers and make an a record for 195....167
stateless
you don't have to setup name delegation
biniar
I had digital ocean's dns servers in there not sure what the namecheap one is lol
stateless
well whatever
use their defaults
biniar
i can use theirs own custom dns
s/own/or
stateless
use theirs
dsockwell
you're making this hard, fyi. do it the namecheap way.
biniar
http://i.imgur.com/V18lq66.png
stateless
no
click the first, use namecheap hosting dns servers
there must be another menu that allows you to add an A record
maps a domain to an ipv4 ip
what you are trying to set there is the ip address of the dns server responsible for answering queries about your domain
which is a different thing
retard
>2015
>not doing your own authoritative dns hosting
it's like you're not even trying to be your own isp
stateless
i have nsd running for ipv6 rdns, online.net only supports delegation
but i never touch it, it just works
https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/319/78/how-can-i-setup-an-a-address-record-for-my-domain
biniar, ^
biniar
stateless: thanks
stateless
when the dns refreshes, will make you an sftp only account to upload your site
biniar
there's nothing there
oh i had another stupid question about man pages
:)
well actually do you use /etc/man.conf for anything?
stateless
no
only used it once or twice to add some non-default paths
biniar
http://sprunge.us/cVQi
the lines where it mentions man.conf
stateless
yes
cuz u are going to use manpages for java
biniar
should i do this?
stateless
no
biniar
less work is nice
have you ever messed with tomcat much?
stateless
no
I have never used eclipse, java or tomcat :P
biniar
how about couchdb?
stateless
nop
biniar
i am like getting all these new elite skills and stuff
stateless
did you add the record?
biniar
i am in the control panel now
stateless
ok
biniar
it just updated
stateless
it might take hours to propagate
going to get some sleep, catch you tomorrow
biniar
so just put in that ip address you gave me earlier?
