dami0
hi
stateless
hey
FRIGN
what's up?
dami0
just messing around with some utils. is there a way to exclude specific directories from find
?
stateless
been busy all day, things calmed down a bit now
dami0, look at prune
dami0
ah, thank you very much
stateless
FRIGN, http://recompilermag.com/about/
let's spend some more time explaning what regular expressions are
FRIGN
"The Recompiler is especially interested in work from people who are part of under-represented groups in technology."
stateless
FRIGN, I like ricochet
FRIGN
me 2 :)
stateless
not the implementation per se, but the protocol is simple and clean
FRIGN
did you add me?
stateless
and BSD licensed
no only been reading docs and code so far
FRIGN
ricochet:42ta4yapsai63uq3
yo, we need to test it
and I like the approach
stateless
will do later, got to get it to build on openbsd
FRIGN, protocol is nice
FRIGN
instead of setting up a new subnet like tox, it's much cooler to just use Tor
stateless
yes
FRIGN
and it supports the infrastructure
if you build tor, you automatically build ricochet
stateless
yeah
it uses Qt and sh*t though :P
at least it is BSD licensed so people can't moan about crap
FRIGN
stateless: like your mom did in my bed last night
stateless
:P
@chown root:root ${DESTDIR}${PREFIX}/bin/slock || echo "Could not chown root:root ${DESTDIR}${PREFIX}/bin/slock; please do this manually"
..
FRIGN
stateless: just saw it
it's a point, but not a good one :P
make it an interactive install inside a qt5-gui
let me cook a patch
with a selection "Install slock locally, needs root prompt"
stateless: did you get ricochet to run on OpenBSD?
It was even a fu*kup here on Gentoo
had to twiggle a lot
stateless
hahaha
haven't tried yet
FRIGN
do eet
:P
Evil_Bob

Sep 8 12:08:25 t420 /bsd: sdmmc0: can't enable card
..and trying to read the contents of this microSD card.
stateless
hm?
did that work previously?
will try it see if it works on my machine
biniar
That was my first attempt on this machine
i put the card into one of those adapters
stateless
yes
biniar
because it doesn't have one of those multi-reader things and such
stateless
will try it later on mine and let you know
biniar
no worries
i will try another microSD card also
stateless
ok
biniar
no luck with the other microSD card, goig to try another adapter now.

I'm suprised you are having issues with mircroSD adapters
biniar

Evil_Bob
qhmm cool
biniar
If i get the external bay can i easily select which to boot from?
or do i have to fu*k with bootloaders and what not
dsockwell
i, uh
sorry
i lost the admin passphrase to that box
so i can't check
but i'm pretty sure since you can boot to a cd a hard drive isn't any different
biniar
i have not yet used the dvd drive on this laptop, not even sure if it works.
Even used a 1G USB drive for the OpenBSD -current installation
