donttalktome: take this, yo
seems like it works :p
Lectem
neobrain : in the long term I'd like to have some github integration for ctrulib or something I guess
megazig
Lectem: I don't know what that means. but if you think it's helpful sure
Lectem
the main point would be to have a backlog for people who dont have bouncer or got a netsplit
megazig
so would it announce commits?
neobrain
(Action) doesn't really have a strong opinion
or any opinion on the matter at all, I guess
Lectem
megazig yes, but i'd have to ask smea to add a webhook
also I think it might be more accessible/understandable than irc for some users
megazig
I'm still not 100% sure on what it all implies, but if it doesn't constantly spam and isn't too intrusive then go for it
linkmauve1
Im pretty much against public logs, tbh.
neobrain
uhm, yeah +1
megazig
I am also, but this seems to be a public enough channel that I'm sure many people are logging
Lectem
well the bot would basicly just copy/paste gitter's users msg to irc
and send irc messages to gitter
Stetoskop
Hey, new around here and I'm having problems running the fan translation of Mother 3 with CitrAGB. Any solutions?
linkmauve1
I dont care about private logging though, I know IRC is a public place.
Lectem, so multiple people would appear behind a single nick? :/
Lectem
yes and no
for example if I post "hello folks" on gitter
the gitterbot would say (Lectem) hello folks
pauldachz
Stetoskop: CitrAGB (and, by extension, gpSP) has numerous emulation bugs, some of which may be 3DS-specific. I don't think there's anything you can do about that.
Stetoskop
Alright thanks, and what's up with the 3DS Theme, fixed anytime soon?
*the 3DS theme website
linkmauve1
Lectem, yeah, this is very ugly.
Lectem
but well, if you guys are not too enclined to it I guess I wont create the bot. I was just thinking it'd be nice to make the chat available to more people
linkmauve1 yeah but you cant really have the bot connect once per user in gitter
so i dunno
pauldachz
Stetoskop: All I know is that other people have had issues with themes from the site as well. I dunno anything about those issues, and I haven't ever applied any custom themes myself anyway.
linkmauve1
Lectem, I run biboumi on my server, which is an XMPP-based gateway I am using to connect here, and it is just missing MAM support to be usable for what you want to use gitter for (archiving).
Lectem, thats exactly what biboumi does though.
Lectem
pauldachz I downloaded a theme there once, it was fine
but since its user contributions, guess it depends on who post it
linkmauve1 I'll take a look at it
Stetoskop
Well all the theme files are 0kb, they're all empty
Lectem
linkmauve1 but then I guess there'd be some need to reflect it on gitter, dont think the service is ready for this
maybe the gain wouldnt be huge indeed
linkmauve1
Lectem, what does gitter provide for the user, actually?
A here is a webchat button on the github page?
Lectem
intgeration with all major hosting and ci services
auth through github
linkmauve1
I wish we could get rid of that centralized crap for once&
But oh well.
Lectem
also images sharing
what are you talking about? github?
also markdown support
linkmauve1
Centralization in general, like here linking to a specific service for auth, and using a proprietary protocol and centralized service to chat, which will keep your logs safe in that companys vault.
But that might be that XMPP and email have accustomed me to be able to use an unique protocol, with any service I want, with any client I want, to communicate with anyone I want.
Lectem
never used xmpp ^^
linkmauve1
Its quite awesome, but very misunderstood.
Lectem
Stetoskop : yeah, same for me. Weird
valentin_ZNC
I'm a bit annoyed, here a wii u code : A09SG7PX376KHH1J
Lectem
neobrain : https://github.com/Lectem/3ds-cmake/commit/d7437d41f10ac9d637b9ea6c92e0a14b99ff0b7d
neobrain
yay
Lectem
guess i'll do the same for target_embed_shader
linkmauve1
Is it possible to use multicast on the 3DS with the stock OS, as a sender?
Hmm, I guess its possible as long as we only use the default 224.0.0.{1,2,4} IPs and dont try to become a member of a specific group.
Is there already a standard for homebrews to store their configuration?
a standard place in the SD hierarchy*
