In canada bottle of water cost $100
http://grist.org/list/28-cabbage-65-chicken-and-other-insane-food-prices-in-northern-canada-2/
but it's not that goods are expensive
it's more like: It's cheap to print and switch 0 to 1 bits
when prices goes up
it mean that someone is printing money

Quick matter of opinion, I've got an RTC project that I'm just using SMCLK and the DCO for time keeping. If I were to go ahead and start including external hardware for timekeeping, would a 32kHz crystal suffice (has anyone calculated whether they're properly accurately 32.xxx kHz as advertised?)
Since I'm also logging this project to HaD.io, and debating on whether the part where I say "How I would improve this." Should be to use ACLK with a 32 kHz crystal, or just full-blown get an RTC chip.
g0rdon
get an rtc chip
ike
but ...
this is his project
if he buy $1 chip with board and battery
then what will his project do?
g0rdon
who cares
he asked for an opinion
he got one

ike, It's not just the actual RTC, there's a display component. I'm just going over "actually making the RTC" part in the project logs now.

Yeah but I'm actually making a clock
Not pulling one I bought from Walmart apart and sticking it in a pencil case
ike
and ask cambazz, ne is now building clock with +/- software ajustments
whatever you do, you can't make better clock than this: http://en.wikialpha.org/wiki/List_of_Guantanamo_Bay_captives_accused_of_possessing_Casio_watches
more 10 years with 1 battery
maybe, if you can make clock that can last 20 years with 1 battery and it's cheaper than casio

It's a weird experience putting project logs on HaD. Because now I'm second-guessing: "Is this going into too much detail and possibly insulting the intelligence and experience of the reader?"
