hi
Kimryd
oh hai oh
senses
need to get a printed manual for live. was hoping to find one on ebay but it looks like buying a box from www.ableton.com/en/shop/ is the only way to get one.

hi
senses
welp, i broke down and bought the $50 Live Suite box so that I could get a printed manual. Just can't read 615 pages on a computer screen.
egrouse
i was so close man
i really wanted the actual box and a disc and stuff
but in the end i just got the dl cos im cheap
lol
senses
i just got the download too, about a year ago. been training myself with videos since then, but i decided it was time to read the manual. so i just bought the box on the Ableton shop for $50, which comes with the manual, discs, and stickers but no actual activation code.
egrouse
ah sweet
Kimryd
Bitwig's manual needs to be Ableton Live-like
It sucks as is
senses
i'm sitting here playing with Arturia Mini V, and if I turn the formant filter on with an LFO so it goes through the A-E-I-O-U sounds in that order, i swear it sounds like it's saying "your love, your love, your love", lol. seems usable.
Kimryd
You'd be surprised senses
Bounce that sh*t to audio
chop it up
Bit-crrusher > distortion > gate >delay

senses
oh that's dope
i love vocals used rhythmically like that
Kimryd
Why thank you
I haven't done it in years, so I said why not
It would be different
Ov3rload
Hi, is there a way to do automatic tempo changes in session view?
If i make different scenes, then the next scene doesn't start automatically
And having to do a different scene for every tempo change is not really viable
Kimryd
Ov3rload,
Try creating a clip on the master
And doing tempo automation
Ov3rload
That woks in arrangement view
I want to do multiple scenes in session view
senses
you want the tempo to change within the same scene?
Kimryd
dunno then
can do that iin bitwig
Ov3rload
That would be ideal, but even in different scenes is ok, as long as i dont have to click anything to transition
In bitwig you cant even change time signature :P
so that's even worse
senses
one work around would be to send the entire scene to a single audio track, and while it is playing/recording adjust the tempo manually with warp turned off. then replace the scene with that audio track, which would have the tempo changes worked into it.
Ov3rload
Yeah but then the metronome doesn't work because the tempo isnt actually changing
senses
yeah, that's true
