adamcik
yay, a bit closer to getting the last tests I broke for play in working order again
*zzz*
jodal
:-)
jelle
hmm mopidy segfaults on arch?
hmm for me mopidy-spotify works flawless
jodal
this one doesn't look spotify related
jelle
jodal: ah, which plugin is it related too?
saspiron
im having "pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: requests>=2.0" when runing mopidy
jodal
saspiron: I'm guessing that you're running debian/raspbian wheezy, and use mopidy debian packages for jessie/stable, right?
saspiron: if so, replace "stable" with "wheezy" in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mopidy.list, run `sudo apt-get update` and then `sudo apt-get upgrade`
saspiron: then you'll get a backport of requests >2 for debian/raspbian wheezy
saspiron
jodal tried that and it didnt work :/
I am on raspbain Wheezy
heres my mopidy.list https://gist.github.com/miketamis/366d135e8348fb54fcc2
jodal
saspiron: you should change "stable" to "wheezy" in the two last lines
wheezy is now oldstable. jessie has been the new debian stable since april.
saspiron
Wooo it works now, thanks jodal
jodal
saspiron: great :-)
saspiron
getting this error when trying to use the soundcloud plugin https://gist.github.com/miketamis/c4f5e0219a5d26ea1d37
jodal
saspiron: looks like a bug. please open an issue on the mopidy-soundcloud repo with the that log and what version of mopidy-soundcloud you're running
saspiron
ok will do
adamcik
isn't that a dupe?
think I've seen that before in the bugs flying by
jodal
possible... been a while since I've been on top of -soundcloud
adamcik
#37 and/or #43
mopidy-soundcloud should probably also put out a request for a new maintainer(s) though
like we talked about for some of the other extensions
yedema
Hi guys. I installed mopidy on my small local ubuntu server and synced my music library which I had there already for mpd. The problem is : it doesn't seem to find albums or artists through the HTTP interface. through mpd it seems to work ok-ish
Anyone know how to solve this?
jodal
travis... I tire of you
Freso
Maybe you should just stop breaking stuff. Tsk. :p
jodal
the pyspotify failure here was me.. but the failure on the m-s pull request... I don't know yet
Freso
Btw.
http://listenbrainz.org/
Keep an eye on that. :)
jodal
Freso: s/verison/version/ -- stop typoing stuff. tsk :P
interesting :-)
s/indefintely/indefinitely/
Freso
Reported in #metabrainz ;)
adamcik
Freso: shouldn't that page send people to #metabrainz and not #musicbrainz-devel
Freso
I actually think that was already fixed earlier, but possibly not pushed live yet.
Anyway, anyone joining #mb-dev will be forwarded to #meb, so no real harm
adamcik
jodal: seems "you" keep collecting gst 0.10 debian bugs :)
jodal
\o/
adamcik: guess I'll have to continue hacking on my pygi branch then!
adamcik
guess we should followup on the bug with a link to #225
jodal
did that a couple of months ago
the mopidy package bug, that is
"Forwarded to https://github.com/mopidy/mopidy/issues/225" -- https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=785910
err, make that "a month ago"
adamcik
ah, didn't notice last time around that it is slomo filing the bugs
good to know that debian has at least one of the upstream authors
jodal
collabora employs a lot of gstreamer and debian folks, with some overlap I believe
adamcik
think he moved on to some other company, at least his blog mentioned something like that
but doesn't surprise me
jodal
I don't know if he is/has worked in collabora. just know that it is at least one organization with huge interests in both debian and gstreamer
